A few weeks ago, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli commented on the matter, addressing the concern of high fees for mobile banking transfers. He mentioned that discussions were underway to either reduce or completely remove such charges for smaller transactions. The problem has especially affected people who use mobile banking for small payments. However, despite the Prime Minister’s comments, there has been no clear update or action taken by the government or any related authorities.

It’s important to note that while no such charges apply for payments made through merchant QR codes, customers still have to pay these fees when transferring money between personal accounts or when making payments through certain banking methods. The government has also been discouraging businesses from using personal accounts for commercial transactions, which might be another reason behind the charges for personal transfers. As of now, the issue remains unresolved, and people are still waiting for a solution from the government or banks. Lets see how government will handle this 11.30 Rupees issues .
